If you’re the definition of a sneezy, snotty mess right about now, you might want to give Millie Mackintosh’s cold cure a go.
A shot of concentrated ginger juice might sound gross, but this healthy root is packed with pain relieving, antiseptic and antioxidant properties. Millie's cold cure sounds like just what we need
A mouthful of ginger can actually prevent and treat the inflammation that causes a cold (a bit like a decongestant tablet). Winner.
But if the idea of drinking pure ginger makes you want to cry inside, try whipping up a steaming pot of ginger, honey and lemon tea instead.
Just thinly slice about one centimetre of fresh ginger, place it in a small tea pot and cover with boiling water for about five minutes. Once it’s brewed add some lemon juice and honey to taste. Job done.
Cold, do one.
